RICKEY JONES
LOUDON, TN TERMINAL
2 MILLION MILE CLUB

Please shake his hand and congratulate Rick (SLICK) Jones on achieving 2,000,000 Safe driving miles.  Rick is a proud and dedicated Loudon driver for the past 17 years, and he gives credit to the shop employees for maintaining his tractor #321.  Rick believes Transport is a friendly, people-oriented company that is concerned about the safety of their drivers with the programs that are offered and policies they enforce.  Rick also believes his safe driving is attributed to his focus on “always watching everyone around him, front, side and rear.”  He says his eyes are tired at the end of the day from “always looking around.”

Rick has been married to Kathy for 34 years and they have one daughter, Crystal.  At home, Rick spends his time out in his yard, landscaping and gardening.  If he had more time, he would keep everyone supplied with vegetables because he would have a much bigger garden.  Rick is also a big fan of University of Tennessee football and loves to “support” the Volunteers.  His personal vehicle is a well maintained 88 Chevy truck which he drives to work everyday.  In his own words, he is just a simple man living a simple life.  But the employees of the Loudon terminal know Rick is much more than that and we all admire his dedication and professionalism as he heads SAFELY down the road giving everyone he passes his trademark “SLICK salute”

Congratulations Rick on your 2 million mile achievement!
